Whyns Farm Animal Project defends animals and their rights. Along with our sister site Piesnpeas.org we report on animal welfare past and present. Some people believe that animals were once people in former lives and that they may become people in lives yet to come. Others believe that pets reincarnate quickly and return to their former owners as new pets but with some of their former characteristics. In Ancient Egypt, the people believed that everyone had a Ba and a Ka. A Ka was a human ghost or spirit, but the Ba was a person's animal soul and the Egyptians believed that every single person also had the ability to turn in to an animal, reptile, insect or bird spirit and it is from this belief that we get Shamanism, the ability to transmute in to the animal realms and become one with them.
